INTENT Advises CERTANIA in the Strategic Acquisition of Class

INTENT acted as buy-side Strategic Advisor in CERTANIA's acquisition of Class S.r.l., an Italian company specialized in qualification, validation and environmental monitoring services for hospital environments.

Based in Budrio, near Bologna, Class builds on roots dating back to 1991 and has been operating under its current company structure since 2020. The company serves public and private healthcare institutions, with recognized expertise in operating room monitoring, antineoplastic drug unit validation, cleanroom testing and formaldehyde monitoring in pathology departments.

With this transaction, CERTANIA expands into the Italian healthcare market and strengthens its European Life Sciences offering, adding critical process validation and hospital hygiene capabilities to its portfolio.
